The Task Force has therefore developed a project called ‘Building Communities Through Sport’ which seeks to capitalise on the rich sporting legacy within region to enhance self-discipline and self-esteem among the youth. One aspect of the project is a community-based 2020 cricket competition under the patronage of former West Indies great Gus Logie and the current national captain Daren Ganga both sons-of-the-soil of ‘fenceline’ communities..
