Mr. John Jones-Manager, Engineering, Design and Construction

John Jones joined NEC in 1999 as the Head of Marine Operations and was promoted to Manager of Engineering, Design and Construction in 2008. He is currently responsible for ensuring the successful completion of all NEC’s infrastructural development projects for port facilities and industrial estates. Prior to joining NEC, Mr. Jones served as an engineer in the Marine Department at NGC. After completing his B.Sc in Civil Engineering at the University of the West Indies in 1978, Mr. Jones obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies. His professional training includes courses in Coastal Structures, Port Safety and Security and Maritime Terminal Management, Human Resources, and Project Management. Mr. Jones is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago (APETT) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
